Organic Travel Essentials [Part 1]

This is Part 1 of of a mini-series I'm doing on organic travel essentials. I will be doing a 2-3 week roadtrip around the West starting next Friday and have been doing a lot of research on organic outdoor products and various ways to ensure health while travelling. Thus, I wanted to share the products I ended up choosing!

Part 1- Sun & Bugs
Part 2- Vitamins/Supplements

Acure Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Spray ($12.99)

Non-whitening, no chemical additives, and hypoallergenic for sensitive skin! This mineral based sunscreen is ready for sweat or swim since it's waterproof tested to 80 minutes. As well, it's lightweight formula includes argan oil for added moisture benefits.

*Vegan, sulfate/paraben/cruelty free

Sun/Wind Exposure Relief
Lilly of the Desert Aloe Vera Gelly ($3-$5) *I bought mine from Whole Foods

I doubt I have to explain much of the amazing benefits Aloe Vera has for the skin including it's soothing/cooling nature it's so well known for. The reason I chose this company/product was due to their sustainable and organic focus with their products.

*Patent-pending concentration of high-molecular weight aloe polysaccharides, derived from the inner filet of their aloe vera plants.

Bug Spray
The Honest Company Honest Bug Spray ($12.95)

With their chemical free formula, this bug spray has been lab tested for proven efficacy against mosquitos and stable flies for up to 4 hours. Completely DEET free, no harsh/synthetic/petroleum based ingredients,  you can wear this bug spray without worry of harsh chemicals being on your skin. Instead, you can rest easy knowing it's full of ingredients like Rosemary, Citronella, and Wintergreen organic essential oils.

*Vegan, hypoallergenic, non-irritating, certified organic
